Growing Forward in Our Community
Deeley employees give time and energy to support organizations that feel the same
way they do about making a positive impact. They are committed to improving
the lives of others in the communities we serve. Deeley’s desire to serve exists
across the organization with leaders, sales and service teams all working together
to give back. The agency established a charitable arm—Deeley Serves—that helps
streamline its resources and support for area organizations in need of assistance.
For many staff members, charitable volunteering is their top passion outside the
workplace, so they are enthusiastic about organizing activities and encouraging
other employees to take part.
A HELPING SPIRIT
The American Cancer Society is well-known
for its mission to fund cancer research,
share expert information, promote cancer
prevention and provide patient support.

Each year, employees nominate charities to consider sponsoring and then vote for
their top three choices to support for the year. The volunteer initiatives are all
employee-led, and are driven by the values of compassion, kindness and service.
The mission statement for Deeley Serves is, “We aim to give back to this wonderful
community we live and work in, through agency efforts as well as individual
employee initiatives.” Past volunteer activities have included helping organize
cookouts for children affected by serious illnesses and their families, collecting pet
supplies and participating in various fundraising activities.
Throughout the year, Deeley employees have the ability to earn time off to
volunteer during their workday. This allows their employees to support
organizations that are meaningful to them.
A GIVING HEART
The Grass Roots Rescue works to save dogs,
cats, and other animals that are at risk in
shelters and within the community through
spay/neuter programs, animal adoptions and
monetary support.
Deeley Gives, a component of Deeley Serves, is a committee that awards one-time
donations to local causes which are in need of immediate funding. In the past, this
fund has helped employees and their relatives with medical expenses, rebuilding
after a home fire and running a 5K for Down’s Syndrome.
