During changing and challenging times , we take stock of what really matters and become more thoughtful about where we focus our energy . We can all make a difference , one positive action at a time . In addition to Yoga Rescue ( page 29 ), here are two other organizations we ’ re proud to support as our Deeley Serves Spotlight Charities for 2022 .
BELIEVE IN TOMORROW
When a child facing a serious illness is hospitalized , it can be a struggle for families to stay together during treatment or to find space and reconnect . The Believe In Tomorrow Children ’ s Foundation provides hospital and respite housing to critically ill children and their families .
Ocean City is home to three respite properties that offer a place to get away , relax , and focus on family amid a child ’ s treatment and recovery . Supporting Believe In Tomorrow aligns with our mission to protect what matters most — family , relationships , and time .
JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT ( JA )
Inspiring and preparing young people to succeed is the driving purpose of Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore . Deeley Insurance Group is a committed advocate of their organization , helping students discover and experience potential career paths . Several of our team members volunteer to teach JA lessons in the classroom . In March , we participated in JA Inspire , gathering in-person with thousands of local students to help open their minds to potential future careers . We love how the creative job fair environment offers hands-on activities , on-the-job equipment experiences , and conversations with business leaders . +
We ’ re always looking for ways to give back to the communities we serve , and each month , members of our team can be found serving meals at Hope and Life Outreach in Salisbury and volunteering on road cleanup projects with Restore the Shore .
