Diecast 64 Magazine January 2018 | Página 6

Over the last 5 years or so I’ve had a great time sharing my passion for diecast cars with others. That’s taken the form of a website, the Hot Wheels Pick’em game, the racing league, YouTube videos, challenges, and more. While it has been loads of fun, I have felt really spread out. I felt like each thing was it’s own separate project. Communication to each group of people involved in the different activities was a challenge. Social media seemed to be the best way to let people know what was going on, but not everybody sees every post. People were missing out on races, games, and contests. I needed to bring it all together. At the same time, I had also been planning a new project, a digital magazine. Then it hit me. In addition to the content I was already planning for the magazine, each of these projects could be included as well to turn it into one super 64th scale diecast extravaganza!

So that’s what this magazine has turned out to be. I’m planning to provide lots of 64th scale diecast content as well as activities like the Pick’em game, photo contests, races, and more. I’m super excited about Diecast 64 Magazine. It’s been a project that I’ve wanted to do for a long time and to see it come to life is awesome!

I hope you are excited as well and want to get involved. In addition to getting involved in some of the activities found in the magazine, I’ll be interviewing a few of you out there from time to time. I’m also planning on having a photo section each month, so I hope you’ll send in photos of your favorite diecast cars.

If you have a diecast business, club, website, event or other venture, that you would like to promote, the magazine will offer some advertising space to do so. If you are interested in advertising in Diecast 64 Magazine contact me at [email protected]. In addition, I would love for you to send me any feedback, suggestions, what you love, what you hate, or just whatever you feel would help me make this a better experience for you. You can send it to the same address as above, [email protected].

I hope you enjoy the magazine and I look forward to hearing from you.
