Dr Devyani
Prabhat
Dr Devyani Prabhat is a lawyer who is a lecturer at
the University of Bristol Law School. Following a Masters
degree in Law from New York University School of Law, she
holds a Ph.D in Sociology from New York University. Her
research and teaching interests are broadly in the area of
Public Law (Constitutional Rights and Human Rights). Her
research methods are both comparative legal and inter-disciplinary (socio-legal) in nature. She is particularly interested in the works of Émile Durkheim and Pierre Bo
