• Competitors are entities willing and
able to invest considerable sums to
develop and further their competitive
edge; this is a challenge/ threat to GFI.
• Non- Caribbean competitors also
offering Caribbean-like products eg.
Jerk sauces, which compete directly
with products of GFI.
• Even though GFI pioneered certain
juice categories, there are firms with
large investments and related output,
which have greaer market share than
GFI.
