EASTBOURNE
What a lovely lunch we had, hosted
by our President Jane Laycock-Mitchell
at Chatsworth House in the village of
Horam. We were not only celebrating
the United States Independence Day,
but also the 25th Anniversary of the
Branch. Whilst the forecast was dire, the
weather held and we were able to eat the
most marvellous lunch in our President’s
garden. The meal was prepared by some
of the Committee and other volunteers.
It included a salmon mousse, coronation
chicken and wonderful bell pepper
and beetroot jellies. The combination
