Put your leadership
skills to work for the
benefit of medical
regulation
D
o you know a physician who shows
initiative, shares knowledge and in-
spires colleagues?
Then tell us about him or her. Or
if you fit the bill, nominate yourself to attend the
upcoming Future Leaders’ Day. We think having
committed doctors who have initiative and the
ability to lead can strengthen medical regulation.
And at the same time, it also can bring a new
rewarding dimension to a physician’s career.
On Friday, May 18, 2018 the College will host
its 7th annual Future Leaders’ Day event in To-
ronto. We’re looking for physicians who want to
take a leadership role in medical regulation in the
areas of peer assessment, clinical preceptorship and
member outreach, just to name a few.
Future Leaders’ Day is a full-day event that
includes presentations by distinguished members
of the medical profession, small-group workshops,
policy debates and many opportunities to interact
with dedicated College staff, including our medical
advisors, policy analysts, and senior management.
If you or a colleague are interested, send us your
nominations! Contact Nawaz Pirani, Outreach/
Consultation Coordinator, at 416-967-2600 ext.
765 or email him at [email protected]. The
