for your information
Are you receiving CPSO emails?
If you unsubscribe, you will miss information that may affect you or your practice
The College uses email to communicate with you about important membership and regulatory updates. We try to keep our presence in your inbox to a minimum for essential notices and reminders only. You can expect to hear from us by email during annual renewal; after Council meetings; elections for Council members( every three years); and when we are consulting with the profession about changes that may affect you or your practice.
The College works on the assumption that our members receive all of our emails. It is the responsibility of each member to make sure we have your current contact information, updated within 30 days of a change, and to ensure that the organization you work for does not block CPSO emails.
You are specifically required to provide us with a valid email address for communications from the College.
PLEASE DO NOT UNSUBSCRIBE to CPSO emails.
PLEASE DO NOT UNSUBSCRIBE to CPSO emails. If you are one of the small number of members who have unsubscribed, please advise membership @ cpso. on. ca and our staff will assist you in confirming your subscription to our email service provider. The service provider includes an unsubscribe mechanism as a standard feature of their service. However, the unsubscribe mechanism does not properly apply to emails for College regulatory operations, and members should not be unsubscribing from College email.
Please note that while the CPSO will send you notice of the annual renewal by mail, reminders are sent only by email. If you are unsubscribed to CPSO emails, you may miss important information which may affect you or your practice.
We want your feedback
Uninsured Services: Billing and Block Fees
The draft Uninsured Services: Billing and Block Fees policy has been approved by Council for external consultation. The draft policy sets out expectations for physicians who charge for uninsured services and / or offer patients the option of paying for uninsured services by way of a block fee.
We are now inviting feedback on the draft policy from all stakeholders, including members of the medical profession, the public, health system organizations, and other health professionals. You can email uninsuredservices @ cpso. on. ca or visit the dedicated consultation page at www. cpso. on. ca to view further information and provide your feedback.
Please provide your feedback by May 1, 2017. www. cpso. on. ca
