Dr . Hellyer is a new member of Council .
Dr . Hellyer is a former Chair of the Physician Human Resources Committee ( OMA ), in which various strategies were implemented to improve physician numbers in Ontario and has helped develop health policy for the OMA and the CMA . Currently , she is on the Patient and Family Engagement and Ethics Committees at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare as well as Medical Director of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation program .
Dr . Gratton is a new member of Council . Dr . Gratton has served on the Inquiries , Complaints and Reports Committee for the past year .
For the past five years , Dr . Gratton has been the chair of the Obstetrical and Neonatal Quality of Care Committee and Chief of Obstetrics at London Health Sciences Centre . He has developed the first Obstetrical Triage Acuity Scale , established the reliability and validity , and guided the implementation in Obstetrical units across Canada .
