Dr. Hellyer is a new member of Council.
Dr. Hellyer is a former Chair of the Physician Human Resources Committee( OMA), in which various strategies were implemented to improve physician numbers in Ontario and has helped develop health policy for the OMA and the CMA. Currently, she is on the Patient and Family Engagement and Ethics Committees at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare as well as Medical Director of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation program.
Dr. Gratton is a new member of Council. Dr. Gratton has served on the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee for the past year.
For the past five years, Dr. Gratton has been the chair of the Obstetrical and Neonatal Quality of Care Committee and Chief of Obstetrics at London Health Sciences Centre. He has developed the first Obstetrical Triage Acuity Scale, established the reliability and validity, and guided the implementation in Obstetrical units across Canada.
