New Academic Representative
Dr. Janet van Vlymen
The College is pleased to welcome Dr. Janet van Vlymen to the Council as the academic representative from Queen’ s University.
Dr. van Vlymen is Associate Professor at Queen’ s University. She is also Director Pre-Surgical Screening Services and Deputy Head, Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine at Kingston General Hospital.
Dr. van Vlymen received her medical degree and postgraduate training at Queen’ s University. She did a fellowship in Ambulatory Anesthesia at University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas.
Dr. van Vlymen replaces Dr. John Jeffrey who served on Council since 2009.
