Take a leadership role in regulation
Physicians in Districts 1, 2, 3 and 4
urged to consider running for election
D
o you practise in
District 1, 2, 3 or 4?
If you’re not practising medicine and are
still a member of the College, do
you live in one of these districts? If
so, this is your opportunity to run
for Council. You have the chance
to hold a seat at the Council table
and participate in the regulation of
medicine.
Sitting on Council is an opportunity to play a leadership role in
medical regulation. As a Council
member, you have the opportunity
to participate in the work of College
committees and contribute to the
development of College policies and
programs.
Participating in medical regulation
is an interesting and fulfilling job. It
is your chance to:
Be Heard: Participate in decision-
making about standards of practice
and professional conduct, and competencies for entry-to-practice and
ongoing practice.
Be Visionary: Lead the profession
by sharing ideas and perspective
