for your information
Do you have your
number yet?
Ninety percent of Canadian
physicians already have theirs.
And the result is that policy makers can do better health human resource planning and
researchers can link data.
As the most accurate way to identify Canadian physicians, the Medical Identification Number
of Canada (MINC) system is contributing to a health-care system more informed by facts and
findings.
For example, MINC was instrumental in a recent study that strongly suggested that all Canadian
practice-ready assessment programs consider adopting the MCCQE Part I as an additional
screening measure in their toolkit.*

That’s the kind of information that contributes to solid decision-making.
Let’s make the MINC link work!
