experience is another example of mentorship, a key tenet of medical regulation,”
said Dr. Rocco Gerace, College Registrar.
In this issue, we thank our assessors for
the work they do. We also want to thank
the hundreds of other Ontario physicians, most with busy medical practices,
who provide the time to help the College
deliver on its mandate of responsible,
professional regulation. Each year, more
than a thousand physicians make the
work of the College possible by: conducting assessments or providing expert
opinions to assist in the adjudication of
investigations; acting as inspectors, monitors or supervisors; or participating on
College committees.
“The participation of these physicians
ensures the success and viability of professionally-led regulation,” said Dr. Gerace.
