deliver on its mandate of responsible
professional regulation.
Each year, more than a thousand
physicians make the work of the
College possible by: providing peer
assessment or providing expert
opinion to assist in the adjudication
of investigations; acting as inspectors,
monitors or supervisors or participating on College committees.
“Without professional participation to ensure that standards are
being met, professionally-led regulation would not be possible,” said Dr.
Gerace.
