21 Proposed Amendments: Transparency
Initiative
As part of the College’s Transparency Initiative, Council
wants to know what you think of proposed by-laws that
would make available on the public register members’
criminal findings, findings of offences under the Health
Insurance Act and certain bail conditions.

Proposed Amendments: Fees and
Remuneration By-Law
The College is seeking your feedback on two sets of
draft amendments. If passed, they would 1) add a fee
for any member who applies to modify the terms,
conditions or limitations of his or her restricted
certificate of registration, and 2) provide greater
clarity to the College’s annual application renewal
for postgraduate members.
For Your Information
16 Infection Prevention and Control
There are ample opportunities for infection to be
transmitted in an office and clinical setting. Protect your
patients and your staff by downloading a document that
describes best practices for preventing and controlling
infection.

Telling Our Story through Whiteboard
Animation
“The CPSO: Perception vs. Reality” is a whiteboard
animation designed to confront some of the criticism
that we’ve received both from Ontario doctors and the
general public, and to help tell the College’s story in a
new and compelling way.

@cpso_ca That’s a great idea. Nice to see that kind
of transparency coming to boards. An example to
other kinds of boards for sure. :)
