A landslide win for online voting
I
’ve long believed that any effort that we could make to encourage physicians to vote in a Council election – the most basic form of participation in self-regulation – would be a step worth taking. That is why I am
so pleased that the move to online voting in last year’s district elections was
met with so much enthusiasm – and increased voter participation.
And because so many of you from Districts 1, 3 and 4 took the opportunity
to remark on the convenience and ease of this new paperless system, online
voting is here to stay.
