FOR YOUR INFORMATION
Support self-regulation
by becoming an assessor
Are you thinking it might be time to add some variety to your professional roles?
The College is currently in need of assessors for a number of assessment activities
including peer, registration and facility/premises assessments. Each of these offers a
unique opportunity to reflect your commitment to self-regulation and become more
familiar with College services.
As an assessor you play an important role in supporting quality assurance and improvement. And assessors tell us all the time how much they learn from doing the
assessments.
We are currently seeking assessors in
a number of specialties and clinical
areas. These include:
4 Family Medicine
4 Pediatrics
4 Rheumatology
4 Neonatology
4 Cardiology
4 Clinical Immunology/Allergy
4 Internal Medicine
4 Radiology
4 Sleep Medicine
4 Pulmonary Medicine
If you are a practising physician five
years out of your residency in any of the above specialties and/or clinical areas, with
good interpersonal skills and a knowledge of continuing professional development
and evidence-based medicine principles, please contact us to learn more about the
various assessor roles. We would remind you that if you have not recently been peer
assessed, you may be required to undergo a peer assessment first.
Thank you!
