In order to successfully complete Ultrasound Boot Camp, the student must tick the YES column for all the items listed below: Exhibits integrity Exhibits honesty Exhibits respectfulness Exhibits humility Demonstrates reasonable comprehension of cross-sectional anatomy Demonstrates reasonable comprehension of morality and ethics Demonstrates reasonable comprehension of ultrasound physics and instrumentation Demonstrates reasonable scanning skills for all assigned exams Works well with others Accepts constructive criticism Is consistently on time for all school-related functions Is willing to help others Demonstrates ergonomic scanning techniques Exhibits a positive attitude Completes all assignments in a timely fashion Serves as a positive role model for future students The student whose name appears on this ballot will have completed Ultrasound Boot Camp and is now a candidate for a clinical externship assignment. Only a unanimous vote will allow the student to be clinically assigned. A NO vote will initiate the following: The student will be issued a letter stating that their clinical externship assignment will be held until any identified deficiencies have been addressed and rectified via an action plan. It is up to the discretion of the clinical coordinator to assess the action plan and ultimately provide a clinical externship assignment. Welcome to EFSC’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography program!
