Principles for Project
Management Success
1. Keep up with your
work
2. Don’t procrastinate
Interns Talk About Their First Impressions
of DMS
My first feelings upon starting the ultrasound internship were excitement and a
bit of nervousness. However, upon completing my shadowing hours, I’ve never
felt more prepared for the program. Experienced students explain a typical day in
their shoes and even let you use the ultrasound equipment. This helps ease the
tension of not knowing what’s to come. This extra time with the machines and
the ability to ask any questions of the extremely friendly students and professors
helped me feel more confident in my ability to make it into the program and even
elevated my excitement to start as soon as possible. I highly recommend everyone
take advantage of the ultrasound internship. Not only do you receive extra points
on your application, but you also have the ability to make connections with the
students and professors. This helps put your foot in the door for an exceptional
career in ultrasound.
