Dr Paul Laigong is a lecturer and Pediatric Endocrinologist at the University of Nairobi and Kenyatta National Hospital , Kenya . He has worked in various capacities in Nakuru and Kericho Hospitals . He worked at the Gertrudes childrens hospital and currently teaching at the UoN department of Pediatric and child health . He is hon . treasurer of African Society for Pedriatric Endocrine Society Kenya ( PESK ).
The Link between Diabetes and Cancer
Dr . Andrew Odhiambo is the Lead consultant Medical Oncologist at Prime Cancercare Clinic , Nairobi . He is a Lecturer & Program Director of the Medical Oncology Fellowship program at the UON . He attended his Fellowship in Medical Oncology in the UK and received his certification from the Federation of Royal College of Physicians of the UK and the European Society for Medical Oncology .
My Story : My timeless challenge - walking on a tightrope
Pooja Radia , a Type 1 diabetic , an activist to help raise awareness , coach others on issues of mental health and organise events / fundraising for the Diabetes Management Institute , Kenya . She graduated with a BSc ( Hons ) in Mathematics and Economics , and a MSc Management and Regulation of Financial Risk , both from the London School of Economics and Political Science ( LSE ). Works in the Finance industry , as a Private Banker in Credit Suisse AG , London .

A humorous 14 year old with a zeal for life of livening up life with a little comic and colour . Passionate about all things football and an outdoor nature seeker , you can find him ridiing on the trails at Karura Forest and now in the DiaBeaters Magazine .
