Giant oak trees, man-made lakes and natural rolling
terrain combine to produce a golfing experience like no
other in Ireland, attracting repeat visits from local and
international guests. Known to many as the “Augusta of
Europe”, it was no surprise that Druids Glen was chosen as
the host of the Irish Open on four occasions - along with
the prestigious Seve Trophy.
Druids Heath is the second Championship course on the
estate. Set against a backdrop of breathtaking views over
the Irish Sea and Wicklow mountains, golfers will enjoy
a challenging course that winds its way around quarries,
trees, lakes and many bunkers. This testing course has
previously hosted the Irish PGA Championship, but
thankfully there are many forward tee options for the
more casual golfer among us.
Check the website for midweek green fee specials,
membership options for both courses, and Stay & Play
packages for as little as €330 per person sharing for
2 nights B&B, dinner and golf. As Druids Glen rightly
declares, everyone should visit this magical resort and
“Fall under the Spell”.
