FOUR SEASONS FAIRWAYS amateur
golf week announces its winners
This February the participants of the Fairways Amateur
Week were having fun while competing over a 3
day golf competition at the Vale do Lobo Royal and
Ocean golf courses for the fantastic prizes to be won,
including daily nearest to the pin and longest drive
categories.
And the first prize winners were: LADIES 1st Prize –
Maggie Best, handicap 16, 53 points; and GENTS 1ST
Prize – David Begg, handicap 10, 58 points.
The 2nd Prize winner for Ladies, was Mary Wilcox,
handicap 20, 44 points and the GENTS 2ND Prize was
won by Horst Arnold, Handicap 20, 53 points (won also
the better back 9 – 27 points);
TEXAS SCRAMBLE – 1ST Prize, Nett Score 61.8 were
won by the team of David Begg, David Haigh, Adam
Raphael and Frans Goeminne. 2nd Prize, Nett Score
64.3 were won by the team of Christopher Wilcox,
Mary Wilcox, Alan Best and Maggie Best.
