Originally home to the Jameson Family, celebrated for their
Irish Whiskey, Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links is now an
international hotel, situated on the shoreline of a rugged
peninsula jutting out into the Irish Sea and home to a
magnificent 18-hole championship links.

The Portmarnock Links opened in 1995,
set in the grounds of the old Jameson
Estate of St. Marnocks. Designed by
Bernhard Langer and architect Stan Eby,
they created a course that is a challenge
for all golfers, and the course has played
host to professional and amateur events
alike, including the 2008 and 2009
Ladies Irish Open.
The recent significant investment
programme has included extensive
upgrades to the golf course, bedrooms,
two restaurants – The 1780 and Seaview,
Jameson Bar and amenities such as
The Spa and Gym.
