Golf Park Plzen
Official venue of the Ladies European Tour from 2013-2015, Golf
Park Plzeň is a beautiful golf resort built in cooperation with the
renowned German company Sommerfeld A.G. and golf architect
Christopher Staedler on the outskirts of Pilsen in Western Bohemia.
The fully-irrigated 18-hole course (par 71) presents a tempting
challenge to golfers of all skill levels and was first opened to the
golfing public on August 21, 2004. The hilly course is set among
birch and alder groves embraced by the Klabava River and the
beautiful Ejpovice Lake. It differs from other Czech courses by its
design – the arrangement of 18 holes in a row resembles the world´s
oldest course at St Andrews. The most spectacular hole at Golf
Park Plzeň is the 11th, a short par 3 with an island green in Ejpovice
Lake – named by golfers as the Best Hole of the Czech Republic.
