Inventory & MSI The Total Inventory of Properties available for sale as of July was 499 , up 13.4 % from 440 last month and up 35.2 % from 369 in July of last year . July 2016 Inventory was at a mid level compared with July of 2015 and 2014 .
A comparatively lower MSI is more beneficial for sellers while a higher MSI is better for buyers . The July 2016 MSI of 2.5 months was at a mid level compared with July of 2015 and 2014 .
