HOW XR FLEXVOLT ® WORKS
INTELLIGENT DESIGN
XR FLEXVOLT ® batteries are 20V MAX * batteries that switch up to 60V MAX * when placed on a XR FLEXVOLT ® tool. They are fully compatible with the entire 20V MAX * XR range, including chargers.

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
Standard XR ® batteries have 5 x 3.6V( 20V) cells connecting in a series and either one or two strings in parallel, giving either an 20V 2Ah or an 20V 5Ah battery.
FLEXVOLT ® batteries are flexible. They connect in parallel for 20V MAX * tools and in a series for 60V MAX * tools. The result? The right power for the tool- with increased runtime and consistent performance.
