The principles, by which Jesus Christ lived, are principles on which our universe is built • He was humble • He was meek • He was just and good • He was kind and merciful • He strived for peace
Christ was completely unselfish. His life of prayer and love was for others. Even as Christ hung on the cross His cry was not for Himself but for others. Father forgive them for they know not what they do. (Luke 23:34). Christ’s mind was so centred in goal that it stayed like that to the last minute of His life. One of the most important factors which Jesus showed us is love. The Jesus, who was and is love, calls you to follow in His footsteps. God needs to live within our hearts. If you desire to follow in His footsteps and reflect His love then God must fill our thoughts. Only love will lead you to the Father’s heart. Christ has set a high standard for us, but if we open up our heart to the Holy Spirit and desire to be dedicated, then the Spirit will make it possible for us to reach Jesus’ standard.
Father forgive them for they know not what they do. - Luke 23:34
Philippians 2 vs 2-12 If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy completely by being likeminded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain, conceit but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interest, but also to the interest of others.
