Lola Katz Roberts – The Racing Post
I am delighted to have been accepted for a placement on the British Horseracing Development Programme 2022 . I applied for the programme after finding it on the careersinracing Jobs Board because I was looking for ways to gain access to the sport straight out of university . I am eager to learn more about horseracing in general , but particularly to honing my journalistic skills at the Racing Post . My future ambitions are to gain a foothold in the industry through this programme and hopefully find further employment in racing . At this moment we find our sport at a very exciting crossroads , primarily I would like to develop racing by altering its position in the public perception . I want to help attract new people to the sport and try to share some of the excitement and passion that we are lucky enough to be a part of . careersinracing . com
