I am 21 years old and originally from Essex . I recently graduated from the University Campus of Football and Business ( UCFB ) Wembley with an undergraduate degree in Sports Law and Sports Business . One of my main interests is in the field of equality and diversity . I studied legislation such as the Human Rights Act 1998 , DSD Regulations , and the Equality Act 2010 during my Sports Law and Sports Business course . All of these laws have been thoroughly examined in my dissertation , which will help me understand the legal requirements that must be considered when planning or developing new projects .
Furthermore , I chose to apply to this development programme in order to apply my experience to the horse racing world , as I believe that horse racing is a sport for everyone . During this programme , I am most interested in expanding my knowledge of the horse racing industry and seeing how initiatives benefit various minority groups . Also , to see how different stakeholders interact in order to achieve the best results for both parties . Finally , to see how the combination of both corporate issues and the inclusion of the broader community creates a safe and profitable environment . Based on this experience , I hope to implement similar initiatives in other NGBs in the future to ensure that minorities ’ needs are met .

I am 23 years old , and a true northerner having grown up in North Yorkshire near Barnard Castle . I have just graduated the University of Bath studying Economics and German . I spent my third year working at a Credit Rating Agency in Frankfurt in Germany . I have always been interested in a job in the financial industry , however my love for sport , especially Horseracing , attracted me towards this scheme . I have grown up with a massive interest in the sport , as I started riding when I was barely three years old , with many of my family involved in the industry . This passion has continued throughout my teenage years with visits to courses all over the world , from Newcastle to Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne . Working with the Tote really interested me , as being able to use incoming data to make informed strategic decisions is something I would love to do full time . I have always been fascinated by the Gambling industry , and the risk taking that comes with it . I would love to have a full career in the industry , making decisions which affect the future of the sport .
