The landmark survey of the state of global
happiness The World Happiness Report 2016 ranks
Uzbekistan 49th out of 156 countries. According to
the report, Uzbekistan is the happiest country
among CIS states with the index of 5.987.
Uzbekistan is above such countries as Kazakhstan
(54th place), Russia (56), Lithuania (60), Belarus
(61), Turkey (78), Portugal (94) and Ukraine (123).
