A Phoenix native, Grant Kingdon
joined NAIOP's Developing
Leaders in September 2014. He
graduated from ASU with a degree
in Marketing and joined Cresa as
an Industrial Real Estate Advisor
in the fall of 2014.
2. Have you been to any NAIOP events yet?
If so, what has been your favorite so far?
Yes, I have been to a few events over the
past year. Although I really enjoyed the DL
Educational Event featuring Jerry Colangelo
(GO SUNS!), I think the clear winner is
Night at the Fights. I am looking forward to
attending the Golf Tournament this year, I
hear that event is a great time too.
1. What made you decide to join NAIOP?
As an individual new to the business I wanted
to join an organization that would allow me to
network with a broad range of professionals.
After speaking with my coworkers that are
involved in NAIOP it was apparent that the
organization was precisely what I was looking
for. Along with providing invaluable networking
opportunities, NAIOP has presented great
educational events.
3.
When
you
aren't
closing
the
biggest industrial deals this side of
the Mississippi what are you doing?
I'm really into anything active and outdoors.
I can usually be found hiking Camelback or
climbing at the Phoenix Rock Gym. During
the winter I try and sneak in as many turns
as possible at Snowbowl or at Telluride. I'm
also a huge beach volleyball addict, I play any
chance I get.
