by God for it is written, “God demonstrates His own
love toward us, in that while we were still sinners,
Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). That truth is a
heart stopper---grace in its raw and awesome reality.
No requirement is necessary but to turn from our
wicked ways, repent and cry out for His salvation!
Another year has dawned. “Fear not,” God
says no less than 365 times throughout the Bible.
Whenever He confronts man, the echo, “Fear not,”
resounds. There is a “Fear not” for every day of the
year, but be watchful and alert. Keep yourself filled
with the Holy Spirit and when you see the nations
in distress, remember this prophecy: “And there will
be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars;
and on the earth distress of nations, with
perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from
fear and the expectation of those
things which are coming on the
earth for the powers of the
heavens will be shaken” (Luke
21:25-26). But
remember also that
Jesus said, “All authority
in heaven and on earth has
been given to me. Therefore,
go and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and of the
Son and of the Holy Spirit, and
teaching them to obey everything I
have commanded you. And surely I
will be with you always to the very end
of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20).
God by Himself has made a way where
there was no way, not just for mankind
but for everything He has created—the world and all that is in
it! Kept by His great power,
His church shall stand,
filled with His power, His
Light, and His compassion. Those whose hearts
and minds have been
seared, those that walk
in darkness, shall see the
Light and come into His
kingdom.
Go
and make
disciples of all
nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, and teaching
them to obey everything I
have commanded you.
When the Apostle Paul,
whose heart was full of hate
for Christians, was suddenly confronted by the Light of
Glory, the power knocked him off
his horse. It blinded Him until, in His
mercy, God provided His sight and, when He did,
the heart of Paul was changed, challenged and filled
with courage and compassion.
