much more comfortable and effective.
From them, I have learned about the link
between health and emotions, which is much stronger
than what I could have imagined. I still don't know
if emotions influence health through chemical
production or if their “vibes” tend to take up residence
in certain areas of the body as a kind of harmonic
entrapment, but the biofeedback equipment has shown
me time and again that the link is there. I can testify
that several different methods, including prayer, can be
potently employed in the emotional healing process.
I use the word “including,” but, truthfully, turning to
God as counselor is the bedrock of emotional healing
because no one knows us as He does. The revelations
of false beliefs and resurrections of damaging memories have been nothing short of phenomenal.
I have continued to frequent Dr. Lee's health club to
keep learning about how to take responsibility for my
health, and to do so proactively. My osteopath/naturopath. Dr. Ellie Campbell. has also been a remarkable
resource for information and has consistently been
dogged in her determination to get to the root of a
problem rather than treat symptoms. She works with
me as a team member and teaches along the way. I feel
blessed to have such wonderful opportunities to improve my health and prevent or minimize conditions
that could otherwise be problematic at my age (57) or
any age, really. Disease does not discriminate.
From these hard working Christian doctors I have
learned about many different methods of improving health by improving blood flow with equipment
meant to stimulate cellular activity. Simple, painless,
yet highly scientific machines such as pulsed electromagnetic frequencies (pemf), photon beams, cymatic
vibrational frequencies, and vibrational platforms
“exercise” the cells of the body causing them to do
the job they were created to do - take in nutrients
and push out toxins. Ionic footbaths, biomats, and
ionized water magnify the effect, promoting lymphatic
drainage as a health support. Nutritional counseling is
provided along with biofeedback machines that pinpoint supplement deficiencies and energetic blockages,
which are addressed through cold laser treatments and
chiropractic adjustment using vibration and kinesiology rather than the “snap, crackle, pop” method most
commonly associated with chiropractic care. I find it

I have also learned about other health resources,
such as the Pastoral Medical Association site (http://
www.pmai.us ) which covers a plethora of topics, and
books on subjects I never knew existed. One fascinating book is by Atlanta area resident Brenda Stockdale,
the director of mind-body medicine at RC Cancer
Centers and a pioneer in the application of psychoneuroimmunology. "You Can Beat the Odds" taught me
the healing effect of musical tones, the power of visual
imagery, and the importance of breathing properly
(because about 70% of our toxins are released through
exhalation). The many case studies of cancer survivors
alone were reason enough to give me some sense of
control over my health.
The point is, there is a world full of wisdom that
waits to be discovered if we take the time to pursue
it. Some is ancient, some is unconventional, and
some is common sense. No
