Donetha: It’s actually N’spired Truth Wit’Love. It came about as I was writing my story, which by the way, was originally titled The Forbidden Truth Trilogy with the single titles being The Secrets They Kept; The Lies They Told; and The Moment They Slipped, anyway, it’s because this entire trilogy is inspired by a true story and based on real events. And when I was writing, I was hoping that at least one person that may be going through something similar would be inspired to hold on until their change comes. DM: So wait a minute. You changed the original name? Donetha: Yes. DM: But why? Donetha: Because although most of my readers were able to grasp the concept and plot of the story, it appeared that the titles were throwing them off a bit. So to get away from that offset, I decided that I would change the titles and I did. DM: Alright. That’s understandable. So another book by N’spired is titled The Crossroad of Friendship. Donetha: Yes [smiles]. DM: Ohhhh, ladies and gents, we got a smile. Tell me Lady D, what’s significant about that book that garners such a smile, a big wide smile at that. Donetha: Nothing really. DM: Mm hm, tell me anything. Donetha: No for real, for real. It’s nothing. DM: And yet you are still smiling. Donetha: What? I can’t smile now. DM: Yeah you can smile, but you know I want to know the details behind that smile. Donetha: It’s really nothing. I just laugh at how the bad girl in me played out with the sex scenes, that’s all. DM: Sex! I know you didn’t put sex scenes in that book. Donetha: I told you, I’m not all that innocent. I do consider myself a saint [laughs] but I got some kinkiness in this vessel too. DM: heart. Wow, yall, Lady D is a freak at Donetha: Yes she is baby, and she ain’t ashamed about it [laughs]. DM: [laughing] Girl you are too much for me. You promised me that you would be an opened book and you sure have shown your colors today. Donetha: Well I’ve learned that we can’t fool God so why try to convince anybody else that we are something that God already knows we are not. I’m not perfect, ya feel me. Perfection is what I strive for but while I’m yet striving, I know that imperfections will show its natural boned nasty self at the most inopportune times. DM: You got that right sistah. Donetha: I know, shit, the best way to conquer that mess is to keep it one hundred – proof and I ain’t talking alcohol either. DM: Girl you are a trip. Hillarious. I know your staff enjoys you. 23 | P a g e
