etermineD Magazine was created to positively ignite the “dare”. It’s all about the “D” - being DetermineD – taking the dare to make positive decisions and differences in life in spite of all of the ups and downs that comes with it. It’s consistent with the will, the want, and the desire to accomplish and achieve success. It’s recognizing the dream, pursing life, and purposely living and loving every aspect of it. DetermineD Magazine correlates exposure and experience, exploration and excellency. It highlights the journey and achievements of those featured, advertised, and/or included in any of our editions. Here at DetermineD, one thing and one thing only is required: and that is that everybody (yes, we do mean “everybody”) enjoy the read and respect the writer it’s just that simple. We respect everyone that we cover in our magazine and our goal is to bring insight to their accomplishments with the same amount of tenacity and authenticity that we feature. DetermineD Magazine is a quarterly magazine which will release new editions once every three months. That means that your story will be accessible for no less than ninety (90) days. In addition, we will have the “D-List” which has been coined as the new A-List and some has even coined it as the New York Times Best-Seller List of the literary self-publishing industry that will contain the top twelve (12) books to read, which will also include books by self-published authors during each quarter and the top one (1) to three (3) playwrights, screenwriters, and poets to be on the lookout for. Although advertisement and features in this magazine are done for a nominal fee, absolutely NO ONE can pay to be on the “D-List”. How does it works: Authors, poets, playwrights, screenwriters, aspiring actors and actresses may elect to have their work nominated to make the D-List but only readers and movie-goers from all of the country can ensure that they get there by voting via our twitter hashtag, on our facebook page, or by email. However, owners of the work optioned for the list are not permitted to vote. Additionally, the D-List does not discriminate with regards to race, creed, ethnicity, tenure, religion, or literary or film genres and there is no set limit that any piece of art/work can remain on our List. Although much of our publications will be consistent with new, aspiring, and emerging authors, poets, playwrights, screenwriters, actors, and actresses, as well as their work; it will also be opened to other aspiring or emerging persons in any field of profession that deserves recognition and exposure, as well as, other venues with the likes of the ToPiC rOoM 3-6-0 and Literary in America and their subsequent discussions. DetermineD Magazine is published by D’Lite Publications Inc. (DP, Inc.) which is a self-publishing company operating under the umbrella of KingDominion Publishers, LLC. We, here at DP, Inc., enjoy highlighting the success, accomplishments, and achievements of people that otherwise wouldn’t get the necessary exposure that they deserve due to the lack of an editor, agent, or without some strong type of representation and/or connection and for this cause we are DetermineD to make some noise and get the world turned-up for them.
