She has stopped demanding for anything. There is only one deep wish inside her- to
get back one of the most precious person of her life. She does not wish for bad for
anyone, it is just that now she has only one desire left.
She is trying to become steady and strong which is a necessity and not any option,
but everyday- be it any time of the day, at least once she sobs a lot. Her tears are
not a symbol of her weakness it is her feelings that are as gentle as a dew drop that
they need to flow out. And if she does not flow her tears out, it could be more
painful for her that would affect her health too. It is not in her hands to forget or dig
all her memories. The moments that she has craved so beautifully, the dreams she
has painted so magnificently- all seem to approach a dead end.
When the result of her exam got declared, she was satisfied and relieved with the
grades she got. It was a good result and she was thankful to God who have helped
her with her studies in such a hard time, where it was difficult for her to write the
exam paper in midst of such a terrible situation. She should feel excited about it,
but she was not. Because she regrets the fact that she cannot share any of her
achievement with Sriash. No one knows whether this behaviour of hers is justified
or not- most of us will think that she has become habitual of being sad, she has
stuck herself to one place only and she does not wants to get rid of that situation.
But if we will put ourselves in her shoes, we will understand the depth of the wound
that she is bearing. The girl who used to enjoy every single moment of her life, the
girl who used to find fun in small little things, that girl is now least bothered to take
part in any of the celebration. All this is because of the uneasiness she is facing
due to the ups and downs of her life. She has not chosen this herself, she is put into
this forcibly.
Whenever people (Shubhi’s friends) used to ask her about her well being, she
always replied that she is fine. Everyone knows that she will take time to come out
from that situation but somewhere or the other her friends have a doubt on Sriash
that he has not taken a proper stand. Her well wishers were genuinely concerned
for her so they used to think that Sriash should have discontinued with Shubhi if he
was very much aware of his family’s beliefs. Whatever anyone thinks or says about
Sriash, only Shubhi knows him better than anyone else. She knows her well wishers
would always guide her in a proper direction but she cannot bear if anyone follows
a mis concept about Sriash. So whenever she gets stuck like this, very politely she
used to narrate everything about Sriash. He has always made her aware about his
family’s beliefs and expectations and he has left all decisions to be taken by
Shubhi.
It was very easy for her to leave him after knowing all things about his family where
she could find difficulty in adjusting. It was an open opportunity for her to end up
everything with him when she was in a tough situation after he got engaged or even
when he has stopped talking to her. She was free to choose an easy path. But she
