order to hide her grief.
In between her exams she came to know from him that all necessary arrangements
for his wedding are being processed. This has made him to speak to that girl (who
is going to be his would be). Sriash has confessed everything in front of that girl, he
told everything about Shubhi. He did all this with an expectation that, that girl would
deny from the marriage because no practical person can live with such a person
who is already committed to someone else.
His expectation got hit with a hammer when that girl did not pay any heed to his
feelings. She said, “Whatever I am doing is for my family’s happiness who are still
lost in the mishap that has occurred with me. I don’t care about anything else. I
cannot say ‘no’ to this marriage. I would suggest you even to go with your family’s
decision.”
Sriash and Shubhi are completely shocked with that reply. Shubhi knows that girl
has faced a lot, she should not have gone through all this crap, but what she is
doing currently is not fair. If you are intentionally doing something unethical, then
this is not apt.
Shubhi would have never done anything, that would trouble anyone else. If Shubhi
can think about everyone, why can’t others do the same for her. Shubhi could not
speak to that girl directly as Sriash has asked her to prepare for her exams first.
This was so difficult for her to study for her exams as she is occupied with the dark
clouds (referred to as problems).She is not celebrating any festival, any occasion
as she has started losing interest in everything.
After her exams got over, she tried to convince Sriash to allow her to speak to that
girl, to which he denied as he doesn’t wants Shubhi to face any complication while
doing so. He himself is trying to convince his family, that girl, but not permitting
Shubhi to do anything because he does not wants anyone to be rude to her. He
can’t tolerate anyone misbehaving with her. He will not let any distress to approach
her.
When Sriash discovered that he is finding no solution to all this, even after trying so
hard, he asked Shubhi to meet for the last time.
When they met, Shubhi constantly kept on saying that this won’t be their last
meeting as they will not give up so early. They still have some time left and they
need to try more. But Sriash did not agree to this. He told her that we cannot meet
again as our problems have not found any way, they are still the same. If we meet
again we will become weaker and this will pose danger to us.
