and covered in flies and maggots. The nephew, who was the grandson of the man’s parents, came since he was the only other living family member left. After the coroner left with the bodies, he went and looked through the whole house looking at where each body was found. Once he got to his uncles bedroom he noticed something on his dresser. It was the vase of flowers, still perfect and seemingly untouched. He got a nauseous feeling but brushed it off. Walking towards them, he reached out to touch them, surprisingly they were cold to the touch. Fascinated now he couldn’t take his eyes off them, slowly picking them up, it was like he was in a trance. Without blinking he walked out of the house with the vase in hand and drove back to his house where his family awaited.
