La Mariscal o el centro histórico son dos opciones con encanto propio. En el centro histórico encontrarás hoteles en casas coloniales con arquitectura peculiar. Por otro lado, la Mariscal es la zona turística moderna. En ambos lugares, la oferta hotelera es muy variada. The‘ Mariscal’ and the historic centre are two options that each have their own charm. In the historic centre you will find hotels in colonial houses with unique architecture, whilst the Mariscal is the modern tourist zone. Both areas offer a variety of hotels.

Hay algo para todos los gustos, estilos y presupuestos: cocina local, internacional, gourmet y“ buena y barata”. La fritada, el yaguarlocro, el morocho, los yapingachos, el librillo, etc. son platos típicos de la zona que puedes probar. Por $ 2, los mochileros pueden deleitarse con una comida que consiste en una sopa como entrada, un plato principal y una bebida: bueno y barato. A estos menús los llaman: almuerzo( para el medio día) y merienda

Some typical local dishes you can find are:‘ Fritada’;‘ Yaguarlocro’;‘ Morocho’;‘ Yapingacho’; and‘ Librillo’. For backpackers, for $ 2 you can enjoy a meal consisting of a soup as a starter, a main dish and a drink: good and cheap. These menus are called:“ Almuerzo”( lunch) and“ merienda”( for the night).
