Canoa Canoa is located at the northwest corner of San Vicente. A hour and a half from Pedernales and 15 minutes from Caráquez Bay. Canoa Beach is perfect for adventure sports, surfing and paragliding. At the streets that cross the main road there are hostels, restaurants and surf shops. Local fishermen expanded conservation efforts and now guide canoe trips around the mangrove ecosystem. These tours start from the nearby town of Portovelo.
