Ubicación: Vía Calacalí – la Independencia Km. 79 MARIPOSARIO El mariposario cuenta con 1200 especies de mariposas, donde el visitante tendrá la oportunidad de conocer todo el proceso de la metamorfosis de las mariposas, que consiste en 4 fases: huevo, oruga, crisálida y mariposa. ¿ Cómo llegar? Desde el Parque Central, seguir por la Calle el Salado, pasar el puente del río Saguambi, la primera girar a la izquierda, vía al mariposario.
ORQUIDIARIO Allí se rescatan especies de orquídeas en extinción. Se coleccionan especies existentes en el área de Mindo para cultivarlas y reproducirlas con fines demostrativos, pedagógicos, investigativos y comerciales. Pretende perpetuar especies mediante la reintroducción al medio natural. ¿ Cómo llegar? Se ubica al lado del complejo deportivo.

CASCADA NAMBILLO Esta cascada tiene 15 metros de altura, sus las cristalinas aguas del río Nambillo invitan al turista a recibir un refrescante baño deslizándose por el tobogán de más de 15 metros. También puede realizar los saltos de 4 m y 12 m para quienes gustan de los deportes de alto riesgo. Este hermoso lugar cuenta con una tarabita de 530 metros de longitud que acortan el tiempo de caminata, brindándole las emociones del vértigo de la altura y una completa apreciación del bosque ¿ Cómo llegar? Ubicada a 5 Km. de la zona poblada, en el Parque Central se toma la calle El Salado, se pasan dos puentes y se continua por la vía a las Cascadas. NAMBILLO WATERFALL This waterfall is 15 meters high, its crystalline water from the Nambillo River invite the tourist to have a refreshing bath, sliding on the water chute of more than 15 meters. You can also make the 4 meters and 12 meters jump for those who like high risk sports. This beautiful place also has a 530 meters long cable of a rope bridge which shortens the walking time, giving you the sensation of high vertigo and a complete view of the surrounding forest. How to arrive? It is located at 5 Km. of the village. From the Central Park, take the path El Salado, go past two bridges and continue on the path to the waterfalls. You can go by foot in 1 hour and 40 minutes, or by car up to the reserve entrance, and from there, just walk during 20 minutes.
