¿ Cómo llegar?: Se toma la vía Calacalí – La Independencia hasta el Km. 52. Allí se toma el desvío a Tandayapa y se asciende 12 Km.
BELLAVISTA CLOUD FOREST RESERVE Ecuador ofrece mayor diversidad de pájaros en menos espacio que cualquier otra parte del mundo.
En el Noroccidente del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito, a tan sólo 1h30 se encuentra el famoso Valle de Tandayapa, un sector que fue designado por“ Birdlife Internacional” como la primera Área de Importancia para las Aves en Suramérica en 1997. Además, ha ganado la categoría del sitio de mayor conteo de aves en 24 horas, del evento“ Conteo Navideño de Aves Audubon para las Americas” en los años 2006, 2007 y 2008.
La Reserva Bellavista Cloud Forest es un lugar especializado en la observación de aves, algunas que se pueden encontrar son los colibríes tangaras, tucanes, el gallo de la peña, entre otros que se encuentran en el sector. BELLAVISTA CLOUD FOREST RESERVE Ecuador offers the greatest diversity of birds in a concentrated space than any other part of the world. In the Northwest of the Metropolitan District of Quito, at only 1.30 hour, is the famous Tandayapa Valley, an area that was designated by“ BirdLife International” as the first area of importance for birds in South America in 1997. It has also won the category of the site where more birds have been counted in 24 hours, during the event“ Audubon Christmas Bird Count for the Americas” in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve is a place that is specialized in birdwatching, some that can be found are the tanager hummingbird, toucans, the cock of the rock, and others who are in the area.
