downtown, it’ s such a beautiful district and deserves to shine again.”
When she’ s not helping shape the community’ s future, Lena channels her creativity in other ways. A self-proclaimed“ nerd,” she enjoys reading, acting in local theater, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends. This December, she’ ll appear in The Christmas Tree Farm performed at Twelve Oaks Estate, playing a character named River.
At home, she shares her life with what she jokingly calls her“ little zoo,” a boxer named Bourbon, a beagle puppy named George, a possum named Pip, a ball python named Monty, and an orange cat named Broccoli.“ They definitely keep me busy,” she
said with a grin.
Those who know Lena describe her as caring, organized, and endlessly curious, someone who blends intelligence with warmth and humor.“ I take my work seriously, but I try not to take myself too seriously,” she said.“ I want people to feel supported and encouraged when they work with me. I want them to know they belong here.”
For Lena, her work is personal.“ Family is a huge part of why I care so much about this community,” she shared.“ My youngest brother is only four, and I want him to grow up in a place where he has every opportunity to succeed. I want people to stay here because they love it, just like I do.” www. iflysouthern. com www. Harrison-Chamber. com
