I am thrilled to become involved as Editorial Director with the new Destination Ireland multi-media brand .
Our new age brings challenges that have distanced us from activities that we have taken for granted , but also connected us with personalities , things and ideas in the vibrant and exciting world that is the Irish tourism industry .
Ireland has always been about the people , the landscape and its old , old heritage . It is also about the new .
There has never been as many new ideas bringing us new perspectives on our homeland . Destination Ireland is here to present Ireland in a manner it has never been seen before .
The journey we will take in 2021 is in part back into our own inner selves , rediscovering and reconnecting with the countryside , the mountains , the seascapes , the small roads and byways , streams & bridges and heathered glens which were part of our childhood and we always knew were there , only never had the time to visit .
