Golf in Turkey: Other Courses
Kuşadasi Golf Club
Kuşadasi Golf Club
The setting for Kuşadasi Golf Club is spectacular, with
views of Samos Island and the Aegean Sea stretching into
the distance. The course is similarly stunning, designed
across two plateaus, around two shimmering lakes and
through olive and carob trees. Beneath the plateaus,
golfers can gaze over the Dilek Peninsula National Park
below and along the Aegean coastline.
The course was designed by Jose Canales and opened in
2012, making it Turkey’s youngest course. Covering 185
acres, it is the holes that run across the dramatic ravines
that have made this one of the best golfing experiences in
the Mediterranean, and also one of the toughest. Kuşadasi
Golf Club boasts dramatic white
bunkering, gently undulating fairways
and 360 degree views. The local town
of Kuşadasi is one of Turkey’s leading
holiday resorts and the golf club, with
all its facilities, is just one of the many
attractions in the region.
