TAT Golf
International Club
The TAT Golf International Club sits on
the Mediterranean, with several holes
pressing up against the sandy beach.
It offers enchanting views out to sea,
along the Beşgöz River and across to the
surrounding mountains, but the golf here
is just as mesmerising. Dense woods and a
heavily undulating and natural landscape
are home to a design that snakes
rhythmically over the club’s 320 acres.
The course was designed by Hawtree &
Co, and opened in 1997, making it one
of the oldest in the region. It is also one
of the best, with three nines that can
be combined in different formats to
create three 18-hole layouts. Two of the
nines are parkland while the third, the
Mediterranean, has a links flourish.
Tumbling fairways are home to jagged,
deep bunkers and you are shepherded
along by the tall pines and eucalyptus
that frame each hole majestically. There
is plenty of room to play and, with many
raised tee boxes, golfers will be able to
appreciate fully the holes that lie ahead
with their army of trees, nine lakes and
70 bunkers.
The holes along the edge of the
Mediterranean are particularly
picturesque, with the mountains as a
backdrop. A sunset at TAT Golf is pretty
