The New course at the Gloria Golf Club opened in 2005, and
Gloria’s relationship with the PGAs of several European countries
was also designed by Michel Gayon. It is similar in style to the
is testament to the resort’s quality and its facilities.
Old, gliding through the thousands of pine trees that call this
resort home, but there are distinctive differences. The terrain has
stronger undulations and it introduces bigger, muscular green
complexes, making for more dramatic targets. The avenues of
pine trees remain the key feature but here they give the golfer
more room, especially off the tee.

There are five par threes and five par fives, which mirrors the Old
course. It adds variety especially with the different lengths of
holes. The longest par three is 212 metres while the highlight is
the short 17th, a 148 metre hole that hits to an island green, with
the spectacular Gloria Sports Centre immediately behind and the
Taurus Mountains rising in the distance.
Water affects the back nine particularly, where big lakes come in
to play. The par four 13th is a tough dogleg, with water left and
right, while the 9th and 18th, both par fives, share a long lake that
slips between them.
