Antalya
Sitting alongside the PGA Sultan course at the magnificent
Antalya Golf Club, the Pasha offers a very different experience to
its championship sibling.
There is little doubt that it is the more accessible of the two 18
hole courses and more popular with the holiday golfer. While the
Sultan boasts a big professional, championship allure, the Pasha
is considerably shorter, promising generous landing areas, fewer
threats from bunkers and less intimidating approach shots. Six
holes share fairways illustrating that despite the flanking trees
there is room to play.
That’s not to say Pasha is easy. Despite six par fours under 350
metres, the course’s main defence comes from trickier greens.
Putting it close to the pin will prove the biggest challenge, so a
strong short game will reap rewards.
The attraction of this course is epitomised by the 13th and 15th,
two short par fours that curl around opposite sides of the same
lake and then share the same green.
The Pasha and the PGA Sultan weave together perfectly,
demonstrating how successfully European Golf Design and

the same landscape.
