built to the highest standards with minimal ecological impact. The standout hole is the 3rd, a long par 4 with water on the left and a bunker on the right guarding the landing area. Aggressive players who hug the water are rewarded with a shorter second shot, while safer drives to the right face a longer and more challenging approach.
Campo 4- 18 holes- Par 72- 6.487 m Located in Algete, like Course 3, Course 4 was also inaugurated in 2013 and offers a friendly, fun, and highly original layout. Designed by Jack Nicklaus Design, it measures 6,487 meters and stands out for its creativity and unique style. Instead of traditional tee boxes, the course features islands of vegetation, creating a links-style design without defined tee platforms. This innovative approach allows players to choose from various tee positions on each hole, enhancing strategic variety and gameplay. One of the most challenging holes is the 8th— a long, uphill par 4 with an elevated green that adds extra distance. The tee shot landing area is narrow, bordered by trees on the left and a large bunker on the right. Reaching the green requires a powerful and accurate second shot due to the elevation, though the large green offers some forgiveness. It’ s a hole that demands two long, precise shots to have a chance at par. Courses 3 and 4 share a comprehensive practice area, fully equipped for both long and short game training, making this part of the club ideal for players seeking variety, challenge, and innovation in course design.
Campo de Pitch & Putt- 9 hoyos- Par 27- 1.522 m This par 3 course is the Club’ s fifth official course, thoughtfully designed and signed by Jack Nicklaus. The layout features generally small, flat greens that offer birdie opportunities on nearly every hole. However, scoring is not always easy, as numerous mature oak trees often narrow the tee shots or obstruct approaches, adding challenge and character. Set in a peaceful and picturesque corner of the property, the course is surrounded by stunning, centuriesold trees, making it one of the most beautiful and serene spots at the Club. It’ s a true gem— ideal for golfers looking to refine their short game in a scenic and tranquil setting.
Other sports and complementary facilities. Real Club La Moraleja offers extensive social and sports facilities across its grounds. There are three main clubhouses— located at Courses 1, 2, and 3-4, each with a cafe and changing rooms. The clubhouse at Course 1 also includes a gym, indoor and outdoor pools, card rooms, lounges, and a spa. Families enjoy a dedicated children’ s chalet with exclusive amenities. The club features a tennis complex with six courts and its own clubhouse. Paddle tennis holds a special place at La Moraleja, with 7 outdoor, 2 indoor, and 4 covered courts. The club hosted the first Paddle Tennis World Championship in 1992 and several Spanish Championships. More recently, croquet has been introduced, with two official lawns and a practice area now available. With its wide range of top-tier facilities, the club offers members a complete and varied sporting and social experience.
